A CHAPTER XXXI (31ST) OF FOCUS ON OPEN SCIENCE

An event organised on April 26th-27th 2021 by:
UCL (University College London),  in collaboration with Scientific Knowledge Services and LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries).

About the event

As part of our Focus on Open Science programme, the team in the UCL Office for Open Science & Scholarship is pleased to announce their Spring conference, taking place on the afternoons of the 26th and 27th April 2021.

We invite responses to a call for papers, open until 28th Feb 2021. We welcome applications for lightning talks across a number of themes related to the 8 pillars of Open Science:

  • FAIR Data
  • Research Integrity
  • Next Generation Metrics
  • Future of Scholarly Communication
  • Citizen Science
  • Education & Skills
  • Rewards and Incentives
  • European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)

The call for papers is open to all interested parties, but priority will be given to internal applications from UCL members and we particularly welcome applications from Research Students and Early Career Researchers. Please do share your insights into and use of Open Science policy and practice with the wider scholarly community. The aim of the Open Science events is to add to a global community of practice in Open Science activity.

Call for papers closes: Feb 28 2021.

Successful papers notified: week beginning 15th March 2021
