Cécile Arènes is data librarian at Sorbonne University library since 2019. She is currently responsible for the research data management team at the library of Sorbonne University. She works on the implementation of the French national plan for open science for research data. She is developing expertise on practical solutions of research data management and dissemination. She makes researchers aware of the need to draw up data management plans for their research projects and draw up research data policies for their laboratories. She splits her time between training and supporting researchers or teams. She is also member of the Research data college of the French Committee for Open science.
